If you see a guy (especially Indian) who rides a motorbike with a bloody hand knocking on your window demanding you to  stop and asking for tissue paper to clean the blood when you are driving a car, remember DO NOT stop the car at  all. Even if he damages your car or holds the side  mirrors tightly, DO NOT stop the car but drive  directly to the nearest police station.

This kind of  criminal tactics have been reported in about 40 cases in Seremban,  K. Lumpur, Shah Alam, P.Jaya and Klang Town police stations (actually around the whole country). These guys are mainly Indian gangsters, They work in a group and dare to commit this crime even n crowded areas where nobody will dare to stop the car to help you. The main purpose of this dirty tactic is to rob you and/ or even commit rape if you are female driver driving alone. Please forward this message to the people you care about.

GPS

A few weeks  back a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green,  which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard. When the victims got home, they found their house ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.   
The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.
Something to consider if you have a GPS – don’t put your home address in it. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

Mobile Phones 
This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet  and others was stolen.  Approximately 20 minutes later, she called her  husband from a pay phone telling him what had happened,  her husband hubby says:  ‘I received your text asking about our PIN number and I’ve replied a little while ago’. When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money in the bank account was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text ‘hubby’ in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes, the thief had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

Lesson Learnt
DO NOT reveal relationship between you and the people in your contact list, by avoiding nicknames like: Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc….   
And more importantly, when sensitive information is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back, better yet NEVER give it through mobile phones or e-mail.
Finally, when you are being texted by friends or family to meet somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you cannot reach them, be very careful when going to the named place to meet  the friends or family who texted you.

while using credit card at petrol station…

Usage of credit card at petrol pump
Beware when using credit card to fill petrol. Just got to know about this case through a friend that this thing actually happened to one of his co-workers. She used her credit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of us do). She received her receipt like normal. However, when she checked her statement, there were 2 RM50 charges added in addition to her purchase.
Upon investigation, she found out that because she did not press the ‘CLEAR’ button on the pump, the employee inside the store was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas! To keep this from happening, after you get your receipt, you must press the ‘CLEAR’ button or your information will be stored until the next customer inserts their card.
Be sure to tell all your friends/family so that this doesn’t happen to them! Pressing the clear button is a must whenever your have the transactions, wherenever, whenever and every time.

True or not, no harm taking this extra step….

Hanya untuk makluman bersama, juga boleh lah di war-warkan kepada kawan-kawan atau pun saudara se islam.

 Pd 1 mlm,smbil2  mendengar tazkirah di RMKL, mungkin ada diantara you all dengar juga.  Ianya berkaitan dengan kad-kad jemputan. Yang kita terima atau pun yang kita beri  kepada orang. Tak kiralah kad jemputan jenis apa pun.  Kad kahwin, kad ucapan, kad birthday dan macam-macamlah jenis kad sekarang ini.  Yang paling utama sekali kad jemputan Kahwin.  Sekiranya kita nak membuat atau nak menempah kad kahwin tersebut,jangan sekali-kali tulis perkataan Bismillah atau Assalamualaikum atau Hadis-hadis dalam bahasa arab or  jawi.. Tulislah dalam bahasa rumi.  Sebab nya, setiap kalimah dalam bahasa arab itu, ada kalimah allah  dan dzat-dzatnya.  Orang yang menerima kad tersebut belum tentu akan menyimpan kad tersebut untuk selama-lamanya seperti menyimpan  al-quran.  Rasanya kebanyakan kita pun membuangnya dalam tong sampah.  Jadi, janganlah kita memandang kecil perkara ini, yang mana dosa membuang kad yang tertera kalimah allah itu sama dengan kita membuang al quran.. Dan simpanlah dengan elok dan untuk  selama-lamanya kad-kad yang kita terima sekiranya tertera kalimah allah. Kalau nak buang, buatlah sepertimana cara kita nak memusnahkan al-Quran lama. 
Wallah hu alam.
